Visibility of .NET Infragistics controls in browser

Post by davidk » Tue Feb 16, 2010 4:28 pm

Our application has a series of Infragistics NetAdvantage controls embedded in web page frames. Ranorex Spy can not see those controls. It can see them from native WinForms, but not in the browser. Is the any way to access the controls using Ranorex in this manner. It's a show-stopper for us.

Attached are a snapshot of the DOM and the Form-based application level. I'm running on Windows XP and have Ranorex 2.2.1.7599 with the Web, Win32, WPF, and WinForms plugins active.

David,

Windows Forms .NET controls hosted in HTML DOMs are currently not supported by Ranorex (yet). However, we have decided to include that support in the next service release (V2.2.3)
