Hi,

Can someone explain what the comparisons in between RANOREX and HP UFT

And why should we choose RANOREX rather than HP UFT testing tool.

Would like to know some major comparison points.

I don't think there is a direct comparison of Ranorex and HP UFT (formerly known as QTP). In the past, people discussed HP QTP and Ranorex here at forum, so using Search is a good start However, the best you can do is to download trial of HP UFT and Ranorex and try to create a simple test in both apps. This is the best way to compare basic capabilities of both programs, element recognition, usability of user guide and code samples, etc. Don't forget to test both apps also on a virtual machine (for speed and consistency of tests). Important part of evaluation process is also customer support and forum evaluation! No matter how good is the User Guide, you will often need to find some things at forum or some answers from support. Honestly, I found the HP forums ugly and very hard to work with. But it may be just me?

Just create a list of pros and cons of both programs and then decide which one is the best for your needs. I did such comparison some 3 years ago (I've compared Ranorex, Squish and Smart Bear TestCompete). It took me several days and the result of the comparison was a quite large and detailed excel file, which definitely helped with the final decision.

Can you please share your compariosn file with me, where I can get some knowledge.
