I use Ranorex studio control metro app test case, it's can work.
But when I build the .exe file to run metro test case, it's will timeout.
what's difference both I use Ranorex studio and .exe file to run test case?
On windows 8 metro also can use .exe file to run test case?

Yes, this is possible but you have to bear the points mentioned on the following site in mind: Windows Apps (aka Windows 8 UI Apps).
Ranorex Studio has the sufficient security rights in order to run your test cases, and in order to run the generated executable I would use the Ranorex UiaLauncher.
